Most of you must remember an incident happened last year at Likas Hospital.. i guess..it appeared on local newspaper's main page. The incident was abt a husband (then become a widower) claims that the doctors did some major mistakes when his late wife giving birth. did i mention late?? yes, his wife died altogether with her child..so pity. And last friday, i met with another victim of Likas hospital doctor's mistake..but she was lucky because she still alive and her baby was all right.
Here was what happened...
This woman already gave birth to 12 child. She was operated when she giving birth to her last baby two months ago..during the operation, the doctors operated her uterus as well to stop the pregnancy again (ikat rahim)..they bind her uterus..(i dunno what we call it in medic term)..and here's where they make mistake..they bind her urinary tract altogether with her uterus (terikat salur pundi kencing)..cause her kidney inflated..she then goes to operation ward again to replace those damaged urinary tract with a tube..because of this mistake, she had been lying on hospital bed for nearly two months until now..her baby already two months old and she never have a chance to see her baby since then..i'm not lying, they (doctors) admitted their mistake too..but these doctor dunwan to give some satisfying explanation..maybe it's too complicated for normal people to understand..her husband said that he wants to sue the hospital..i don't know how it's goin on so far till now..what i'm thinking rite now is that do i need to trust them 100% again.. i think i have to save money from now to give birth at non gov gospital in the future..i dont care the cost, i just want a guaranteed, trusworthy, integrated, and more experience doctor to do the operation for me..this is a matter of life and death..no testing..once you make a big mistake, you owe a life..
