Berita ini dipetik dari The Telegraph, "A massive underwater landslide 200 miles out to sea is believed to be the cause of a series of strange tides and waves off the coast of Devon and Cornwall. Holiday makers, fisherman and conservationists were surprised when the tide suddenly retreated 50 yards.
The sudden drop was followed by a tidal surge, with witnesses reporting waves up to three feet high along the south coast line and estuary rivers. Amateur footage shows the bore-like wave surging up the Yealm estuary near Plymouth. Experts said the phenomenon, which was felt from Penzance in Cornwall to Portsmouth, was likely to have been caused by a landslide on the continental shelf under the sea."
