Ho ho ho ho!..Christmas is coming soon. Have you prepare for your gifts? Yes..you awesome..No..you in trouble..haha..kidding. Need a liltle advise on choosing or making the best gifts with low budget? Here are some instructions and these methods are recommended for christmas celebration within family member or relatives. Get ready..
1. Write the name of each member of the family on a slip of paper. Mix them all up in a jar or hat and have everyone draw a name. Have each family member purchase gifts for one or two people. This is beneficial for larger families with many children or people to buy for. Family members won't feel compelled to buy for every single person in the family.
2. Set a spending budget. Allow the family to only spend anywhere from $5 to $10 per person. This will curtail anyone's urge to buy unnecessarily large and expensive gifts.
3. Throw a "white elephant" gift-exchange party. Family members first find items within their home that they don't use anymore, then bring them to the party to give as gifts. This is a great way to pass on family heirlooms, or even get a copy of that book you may have been eying at another family member's house. There is no cost involved (except for gift wrap), and it's fun to see what families can come up with.
4. Have a recipe-and-treat exchange. Tell each member of the family to cook one of her favorite Christmas desserts or dishes, then write down the recipe on a recipe card, or even a Christmas card. Give the recipes to everyone as gifts, so they can try to make them themselves.
5. Tell each member of the family to buy gifts that can be enjoyed by both men and women. Set a spending limit that is within everybody's budget. (No more than $20 would probably be preferable.) Then wrap each gift and place a number on it. Write as many numbers on slips of paper and put them into a hat or container. Have everyone draw a number. Each family member then matches his number with the correct gift. Just be sure that you don't draw the number of the gift you brought yourself!
